A Spond alternative for the people who run the team
Spond is a popular free team app that charges a fee on payments collected through it. iiCaptain is built around the other half of the job: who is coming, what you train and who plays. No ads, and no fees on your team's money.
Free account, unlimited team members, no credit card.
From team replies to a match plan
Availability that runs itself
Players answer with one tap, and anyone who has not answered gets one reminder the day before. Absence periods, approval rules and a sign-off deadline are built in.
Coaching tools, not just a calendar
Plan trainings from your own drills library with diagrams, build lineups in your formation and keep match statistics per season. That is Premium: € 5.99 a month or € 49 a year, and the first 30 days are free.
No ads, no fees on your money
iiCaptain shows no ads in the app and never handles your team's money. The team kitty keeps track of who paid what; you settle up however you like.
When Spond is the better fit
If you want to collect membership fees or other payments inside the app, Spond does that and iiCaptain does not. If you need a team that turns up and a training that is planned, try iiCaptain for free.
